The Sony VPL-HW55ES Full HD 3D Home Cinema Projector delivers 1700 ANSI lumens of brightness with a low noise level of only 21 dB. The projector is powered by three-panel SXRD technology and Motionflow technology. It features a 120,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, support for a variety of 3D formats, and Full HD 1920 x 1080 native resolution that translates to your favorite films at their very best, whether in 3D and 2D.

The VPL-HW55ES offers several connectivity options including dual HDMI inputs, a VGA input, a component video input, and more. The projector also provides flexible installation features including vertical and horizontal lens shift, a 1.6x motorized zoom, and a wide vertical range, which allows more options for placement and installation, all without reducing image quality.

The projector comes with a built-in IR 3D transmitter. This means no set-up time or cables are required; just synchronize the VPL-HW55ES with your IR 3D glasses, and you can start your true 3D experience.
