| The Sony DCR-SR87E Handycam Camcorder contains an 80GB hard disk drive to store all of your high-quality videos and stills. This camcorder also features hybrid recording technology, which gives you the flexibility to record video to the hard drive or Memory Stick PRO Duo media. You can even transfer your video without a PC by connecting directly to the optional DVDirect DVD burner (VRD-P1). You'll also enjoy peace of mind with HDD Smart Protection which prevents any recorded video and images from being lost if the camcorder is accidentally dropped. Capture still images and video directly to Memory Stick PRO Duo media (sold separately) making it easy and convenient to transfer or enjoy your video and still images on compatible Memory Stick PRO Duo device. Power on your camcorder by simply opening the LCD display. Make the most of your memories even when filming in challenging situations. This camcorder offers multiple scene modes for beautiful video results in just about any environment. Hybrid recording technology lets you record video directly to either the 80GB hard disk drive or removable Memory Stick PRO Duo media (sold separately). You can even select from various dubbing functions to easily copy video or still images from the HDD to the Memory Stick media-without using a PC. This camcorder supports a direct connection with the VRD-P1 DVDirect DVD burner (sold separately), which allows you to burn DVDs directly from your camcorder without the need for a PC. And because the VRD-P1 is powered by your camcorder, you don't need an additional AC power cable. Capture audio the way it's heard in real life-from all around you. This camcorder supports 5.1 channels of surround sound so that playback on your home theater will sound as realistic as possible. The built-in zoom mic records the audio of your faraway subject as you zoom in on them. Experience a simple way to transfer, sort, view and share your video and still images with the supplied PMB PC software. In addition, multiple output options let you burn your memories to DVD, AVCHD and Blu-ray Disc media, as well as take advantage of one click upload to a number of popular video and photo sharing sites. |
