The Pearstone Cold Shoe Adapter for Canon Camcorders attaches external microphones and lights to any Canon camcorder. The shoe's locking wheel keeps the adapter locked to the camera, ensuring that your accessories stay firmly in place. In addition, the screw can be tightened on the left or right side to hold accessories to the camera. For use by both left and right handed individuals, the bottom part of the shoe can be removed and rotated. This cold shoe adapter will not provide power to the accessories via the camera, so an external power source needs to be used.
