A bright and detailed electronic viewfinder combined with intuitive controls enable you to capture incredible moments as the opportunity presents itself.The 20.3MP CMOS sensor pairs with the DIGIC 8 image processor to afford stills shooting at up to 10 fps for working with moving subjects, and also enables recording UHD 4K video content as well as producing 4K time-lapse movies. Benefitting the imaging capabilities, this camera also incorporates a 2.36m-dot OLED electronic viewfinder for clear eye-level shooting and built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth permit seamless wireless control and sharing capabilities.

  • The DIGIC 8 processor enables the Canon PowerShot HS to deliver a 10fps continuous shooting speed, along with 4K video – including 4K time-lapse and 4K frame grabs. 

  • With built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, it supports the Canon Camera Connect app to enable quick and simple file transfer as well as Remote Live View shooting. 

  • Inside DSLR-style body of the Canon PowerShot SX70 HS is a 20.3-megapixel 1/2.3-type CMOS sensor that offers a 25% increase in resolution compared to the 16.1MP SX60 HS.

  • Along with the new sensor is Canon’s DIGIC 8 processor, which enables the camera to reach continuous shooting speeds of 10fps.

  • With its 65x optical zoom the Canon PowerShot SX70 HS brings an equivalent focal length of 21-1365mm. It also introduces a 0cm macro mode that Canon says lets users focus on ‘objects that are virtually touching the lens.

  • Zoom Frame Assist Lock, another new feature, helps users keep their frame and composition consistent when shooting at that extreme telephoto end of the focal range.

  • Capability to shoot 4K UHD video, as well as capture 4K frame grabs and shoot 4K time-lapse videos.

  • Other features include Remote Live View, which enables you to shoot with the PowerShot SX70 HS via your smartphone, as well as sync images and video to your computer or smart device via Auto Image Sync and Transfer mode via the Canon Camera Connect app.
