TheSony 32GB HDR-CX430V HD Handycam Camcorderfeatures an 8.8MP Exmor R CMOS sensor and a 30x Sony G zoom lens. The CX430V is capable of capturing Full HD 1080/60p and 24p video as well as 8.9MP still images. Balanced SteadyShot with Active Mode moves the entire optical block independently from the rest of the camera body for superior image stabilization. The 32GB of embedded flash memory can record and store up to 11 hours and 40 minutes of HD footage.
Users can monitor and playback footage via a 3" Clear Photo Plus LCD display with 230K dot resolution and touch screen capability. Sony's Multi-Interface shoe is designed to provide a common interface across all of Sony's Digital Imaging products. The shoe allows users to attach a wide array of accessories including video lights, microphones or a Wi-Fi module(optional accessories sold separately). The Wi-Fi module can enable wireless control, transfer, and data back-up.
Intelligent Auto mode analyzes your shot and automatically selects the appropriate settings from ten distinct scene modes, with 180 different possible combinations. Users can choose to recording in one of two video formats, either high quality AVCHD or web optimized MP4. Finally, a built-in USB cable provides a connection to your computer for charging or file transfer.
1080/60p, 24p and 8.9MP Still Images
In addition to high definition 1920 x 1080 videos at 60p and 24p, the CX430V can capture high quality 8.9MP still images. Sony's back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS sensor is designed for compact cameras and camcorders. The sensor relocates the photo diodes above the support circuitry, which maximizes the light gathering area per pixel and achieves better results in low light conditions.
Sony G Lens with 30x Optical Zoom
The lens has a 35mm equivalent of 26.8mm at the wide end of the focal range, and the 30x optical zoom is supported by a 55x Extended Zoom.

Built-in USB 2.0 Cable
The built-in high-speed USB 2.0 cable provides an easy connection to your computer for charging or file transfer, without the need for a separate cable. Direct Copy and Highlight Playback

When the camcorder's Face Detection technology identifies people in a scene, an Advanced Acoustic Processor automatically reduces background noise, resulting in recorded voices with outstanding clarity and intelligibility.
Advanced Sound System
Premium video demands premium audio. This is why Sony has enhanced the sound system in select Handycam camcorders. A wider dynamic range allows for clearer and cleaner sound recording when shooting in areas with either too much background noise or where the audio level is too low.
