This 5-Lamp Fluorescent Cool Daylight Lamphead is a cool (5,200K) flicker free light source primarily for use in digital still and scanning photography or video capture. The five highly efficient 28W fluorescent lamps provide the equivalent output of 700w tungsten light with no heat or UV output, meaning that this light set can be placed closer to the subject than incandescent or flash lighting.
This set is supplied with a 24 inch softbox with soft diffuser screen. With the white diffusing screen you get extremely softening effect. Or you may remove the screen to get more character lighting.
This makes it easy to use and ideally suited for professional and semi-professional digital capture for desktop and internet publishing
