The Sony HDR-PJ30E PAL HD Camcorder is more than your ordinary high-def camera. The PJ30E boasts not only 50p and 25p full HD recording, but a built-in projector as well. Now, instead of sharing your videos and stills on merely a home HDTV, you can project them right onto the nearest wall or a 60" screen. And with the two available frame rates, you can give your videos the film-like look of 25p or the sharper, more TV-like 50p.
When it comes to the camera's more conventional aspects, you'll find all things you would expect in a device of this caliber: a 3.0" touchscreen LCD, 17x extended zoom, optical image stabilization, a wide angle zoom lens... You'll also find a few things that you weren't expecting, like 5.1 channel Dolby Digital Surround Sound recording. In fact, the camera is full of audio enhancements, such as Sony's built-in Clear Phase stereo speakers, mic and headphone connections, and wind noise reduction.
